Bihar Gram Vikas Parishad (BGVP) is a non-governmental organisation based in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, India. Sitamarhi district lies in northern Bihar and shares border with the neighbouring country Nepal. Sitamarhi district is severely affected by yearly floods during the rains due to Bagmati, Lakhandei, Jamuna and Haldi rivers, which criss-cross the district.
