Bihar Gram Vikas Parishad in managed by a governing body consisting of nine members. They are local people from different backgrounds and disciplines with experience in the developmental fields. They meet every quarter and discuss the progress and programme of the organisation.
The president of the organisation takes all major decisions on behalf of governing body whereas general secretary is the chief functionary, and he manages all programmes and projects. The organisation is based on a democratic principle and all decisions are taken in a collective way. The organization follows transparent way of functioning and implementing projects.
BGVP has 12 staff members, out of whom eight are men and four are women. The organisation has 26 decimals of land. The office is running from a rented house having office room, meeting hall, storeroom and equipment including four almirahs, one LCD projector, one TV, one refrigerator, one generator, one inverter, one motorcycle, one camera, 13 durries and 13 sheets. The organisation has basic infrastructure facility to work with the target community.
